How to change your email address

You cannot change the email address on your user profile because Objective Build uses your registered email address to identify you in the system.

However, you can register a new profile using your new email address and then use Organisation functionality to bring the old profile into the new organisation under management of your new profile.

Important note:  Please be cautious about accepting invitations to join or merge with an organisation, as merging will provide access and pass some 'ownership' of your applications, consents, contacts and libraries to the destination organisation. You cannot undo a merge without help from the Objective Support team.

1. Register a new user profile using your new email address and complete the email verification process.

2. Invite your old user profile to merge into your new user profile's Organisation:

1. Log in to Objective Build using the email address that is to be your new primary email address.

2. Open the Organisation page and select Actions | Invite organisation to invite the existing user profile to join your new profile's Organisation.

3. Accept the invitation to join your new user profile's Organisation:

   1. Log in to Objective Build with your old user profile.

   2. Open the Organisation page and accept the invitation to join the new profile's Organisation.

4. Check you can see your old user profile's applications, consents, contacts and templates:

   1. Log out of Objective Build and log in with your new user profile.

   2. Open the Organisation | Members tab and check your old profile is visible as a member.

   3. Check the Applications, Consents, Templates and Contacts pages contain the information from your first profile.
